Welcome to the
Dream Nanny Hub
We are always looking for passionate, experienced and friendly Nannies to join the Dream Family and are thrilled to be able to tell you more about us, our philosophy and the many benefits we offer.
Many of our Nannies stay with us throughout their careers. The loyalty of our Nannies combined with their passion for childcare and education is why we are New Zealand’s most recommended Nanny recruitment agency.
We've got a great team and network of Nannies across Auckland with a range of permanent, temporary, part time and babysitting opportunities available. Depending on your experience, you can earn $18 to $25 or more an hour with us.
Benefits for you
You, our Nannies, are the reason why Families choose KiwiOz. We also know, understand and value the huge amount of passion and energy that is involved in caring for children, so we want to make sure you are looked after in as many ways as we can. Below are some of the benefits you will receive as a Dream Nanny:
Check out our range of special offers and discounts that we have put together to make your life as a Dream Nanny the best it can be. From FREE First Aid Courses to discounted gym memberships to $1000 cash towards your qualifications.

Temp and babysitting opportunities
Temporary placements, which range from five hours to 10 weeks, and evening babysitting jobs are available if you would like to pick up more hours or work flexible hours between permanent roles. We also have specialist Temp and Babysitting roles available for experienced Nannies with premium hourly rates.
Contractual and financial support
You may operate as a contractor if you are eligible, and we can process your tax returns and PAYE. Just ask one of our friendly Placement Consultants for more information.
International Nannying opportunities
Want to work and travel? Sometimes overseas opportunities for live-in Nanny positions in Europe, Asia and the Middle-East become available for our Kiwi Nannies. The living conditions are always remarkably good and most Families offer travelling opportunities.
Performance appraisal support
When the time comes, we can support and help with your first performance appraisal. Our Placement Consultants will talk you through the process and assist your Family to ensure they understand the process too.
Finding the perfect match
Your Placement Consultant will spend time with you to understand your background and your aspirations so that we can match your values, personality and teaching and learning passions with the right Family.
This boutique-style selection process helps to ensure happy, long-lasting and successful placements.
Your consultant will also arrange interviews for you, pass on interview tips, negotiate a competitive rate on your behalf, and provide an employment agreement.
Our job doesn’t stop once you are placed with a Family. Your consultant will check in with you regularly to make sure you are settling well in your new role.
Many of our Families participate in our highly-regarded home-based Dream Education Programme. If your Family is enrolled, you will receive professional support from one of our ECE-qualified Visiting Teachers who will visit you each month.
Funded by the Ministry of Education, the programme weaves together the principles and strands of Te Whāriki to create a holistic, child-centred local curriculum. The programme is designed to keep learning fun and includes regular activities so you can meet with other KiwiOz children and Nannies in the area.
Children’s portfolios made easy
Through our Dream Education Programme, you will be able to keep Families updated on their children’s learning via Educa, a secure online portfolio. It is easy to use and allows you to post learning stories, photos, videos and in-depth reports for each of your charges.
As part of your role, you will need to keep a current first aid certificate. We are affiliated with St John and can offer you FREE child First Aid courses when you are placed as a KiwiOz Nanny. We will also remind you when your refresher is due!
Professional development support
In addition to the support from our qualified Visiting Teachers, we also run professional development events every term that focus on the children's emerging interests and development to better equip you to support them. We run a variety of professional development courses targeting both Nannies just starting their career and others tailored to our long-term more experienced Nannies.
Training and Qualifications
Kiwi Oz Nannies want to give you $1,000 cash. We want to help you gain your New Zealand Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care, level 4 qualification. Any of our Nannies who register and complete their level 4 qualification will receive $1,000 cash.
